In this podcast episode, we read Genesis chapter 2 from yet another English translation of the Bible that does not contain a patriarchal bias in this passage. We then discuss androcentric (male-centered) translations, as well as patriarchal commentary from the 4th and 16th centuries AD. We highlight the manner in which these commentaries directly contradict what we read in the Bible's oldest available manuscripts.
